In-House Laboratory

Caring Heart Pediatrics has in-house laboratory  enabled to perform most pediatric lab work.  As a result, the physician will be able to appropriately diagnose the child and then prescribe the best treatment possible.  Common in-house test performed include:

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

  • Basic Metabolic Panel (BMP) 

  • C-Reative Protein (CRP)

  • General Health Panel (GHP)

  • Bilirubin   

  • Cultures

  • Drug Screens

  • Flu (Type A and B)

  • Rapid COVID-19 Test

  • Glucose

  • Hemoglobin

  • Lead Level

  • Mono Test

  • Rotavirus Test

  • RSV Test

  • Strep Test

  • Urinalysis

  • If the test is not performed in-house, a specimen will be obtained and sent to our reference lab.  In those instances, an additional bill may be sent from these entities.
